THE VISIONARIES
Sharris McDuffie-Fransisco — Playwright & Creative Director. A graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a B.A. in Theater Arts, Sharris has graced stages worldwide. She’s toured with Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and starred in the Broadway musical Fame. Sharris has performed with legends like Jennifer Holliday, the late Aaliyah, and Andy Williams. Her experience as a performer and storyteller fuels the soul of this work. https://str8upbandjax.com/
Deb McDuffie — Composer & Music Director Deb McDuffie is the first African American female producer/composer in the advertising and record industries. She has composed award-winning commercials and hit records with icons like Luther Vandross, Janet Jackson, Al Green, Roberta Flack, and Howard Hewett.
